We have seen how God used all types of illness to lead this undeserving one to the best season, and last of my life.
Hebrews 4:
12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart. 13 And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are open and laid bare to the eyes of Him with whom we have to do.
How powerful is Word?
God used all those illnesses, and
Luke 17:10
10 “So you too, when you do all the things which are commanded you, say, ‘We are unworthy slaves; we have done only that which we ought to have done.’ ”
To answer this impossible prayer:
Psalm 39
(12 “Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear to my cry; Do not be silent at my tears; For I am a stranger with Thee, A sojourner like all my fathers.)
13 “Turn Thy gaze away from me, that I may smile again, before I am no more.
The Bible does not say the abundant life is the continual comfort of our flesh. Still, it does say abundant life is ours in the providence of God, life, and godliness, the peaceful fruit of righteousness, and one day the knowledge we will have no sorrows, no tears, and live in the presence of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
You and I brothers and sisters are children of the God who is going to still the storms in our lives, strengthen our arms for battle, go before us to make us a path, He will make the journey to heaven…glorious. He is moving to bless and make us long for our eternal haven of rest.
