Committed to Reading through the Bible? Here are:

2 Prayer ideas.

7 Approaches that may help us successfully read the whole Bible in 2022

7 Testimonies demonstrate how much we can learn by reading through the Bible.

Testimonies:

Early

1.

I got my life’s verse within the very first year of my salvation:

Ezra 7:10

10 For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the LORD, and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel.

2.

Talk about incredible compulsive joy… 1 Samuel 13:14… knowing we could be a man, a Christian dedicated, as the verse says, a man after God’s own heart.

Mid-study knowledge:

1.

Psalm 22:1

1 My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me? Far from my deliverance are the words of my groaning.

Even a man after God’s own heart has times when we feel forsaken, those sorrowful affections do not separate us eternally from our Savior.

2.

Psalm 22:6-18

We learn just how much our Savior suffered for our salvation.

3.

2 Corinthians 1:3-7

God uses our sadness for the good of all around us.

Late-life lessons:

Ezekiel 1:22 &26-28

1.

God is like nothing we can even think

2.

Hebrews 12:

11 All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

If you have never read through the whole Bible, you are in for a spectacular read which will grow your Christian life, expand your thinking, and give you some passages and concepts which will provide you with some knowledge you will wrestle with the rest of your life. And it will be gratifying.

And since He bids me seek His face,

Believe His Word and trust His grace,

I'll cast on Him my every care,

And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!"
