“What a man is on his knees before God, that he is, and nothing more.”
If you are believing, and you believe what the Word of God says that we're then we know, to steal from Hebrews For that we are opening laid bare with God. And so you know, whether you're humble, or demanding, whether you're loving, or you just want stuff from this, God who saved you. And sometimes, that will be true of all of us.
The reality is, and think about this when you go to prayer, you are what you are on your knees. If, again, you take seriously, you are open and laid bare to God. He knows your prayers. He knows the hypocrisy of our prayers sometimes. So we are who we are. And when we pray and make pledges and cry out to God, he takes that seriously. He knows that's the cry of our hearts.
Holy Ghost, we pray that you would take this quote, a man is what he is on his knees before God and nothing more, helping us to come to you in sincerity.
