A recent public reading of Ezekiel struck my soul, for the helplessness, hopelessness, and futile life without Christ, and at that moment, I was cut to the quick or wrecked by my own heartless, faithless, and listless prayers ever for those who are without Christ.
In tears and public, I wept, repented, and prayed, oh Lord Jesus Christ, wake up my dull heart to pray for Thy salvation to spread.
And since He bids me seek His face,
Believe His Word and trust His grace,
I'll cast on Him my every care,
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!"
