God brings you to places among people and into certain conditions to accomplish a definite purpose through the intercession of the Spirit in you. Your part in intercessory prayer is not to agonize over how to intercede but to use everyday circumstances and people God puts around you, by His providence, to bring them before His throne and to allow the Spirit in you the opportunity to intercede for them. We, in this way, God is going to touch the whole world with his saints.
Wow, I have a long way to go. No wonder Paul says to pray without ceasing. If we pray quickly for every person we meet, we will have little time for worrying, gossip, and needless noise… I do have a long way to go.
And since He bids me seek His face,
Believe His Word and trust His grace,
I'll cast on Him my every care,
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!"
