October 2, 2022 - Inspired by J.C. Ryle’s treatise on prayer.

J.C. Ryle boldly asserts:
“To be prayerless is to be without God, without Christ, without grace, without hope, and without heaven. It is to be on the road to hell. Now can you wonder that I ask the question,
Do you pray?
I ask again whether you pray, because a habit of prayer is one of the surest marks of a true Christian.”
Our prayers, our desire from our new inner man to seek communion with Holy God, our Creator, Savior, our Rock, and our Refuge is also our comfort as we realize we also have a pillar of assurance that we are His.
If you need a spiritual kick in the pants to ignite your prayer life, October is the month for you.
