Jesus Teaches Prayer/ October 2020 - Devotional Gratitude for God's Will: Salvation

Salvation is the paramount will of God. The message of the Church, given to us by our Savior, is the Good News's proclamation that there is a way to God. There is reconciliation between God and man.

Two Biblical truths that must drive us to our knees for friends' loved ones, acquaintances, strangers, and enemies is their need for salvation.

Barring the saving knowledge of Jesus, who is the Christ, all else, as the preacher says, is vanity.

Jesus was never ambiguous on this truth:

"Jesus *said to him, 'I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me.'"

John 14:6

"For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world, and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matthew 16:26

To the redeemed, He says:

"Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven."

Luke 10:20

Salvation, whether in intercession, workers for the harvest, or overflowing gratitude to God, our Savior, is an emphasis of our daily prayers. We reflect the heart of the Father when we pray these ways.
