Jesus commands us to ask, seek, and knock.
He teaches us to ask, seek, and knock for good things, and God will not give us stones or snakes but those good things.
He knows our needs, has perfect answers in store, and how to grow each of us to spiritual maturity through those answers. Molding our prayers to glorify Himself, conform us to His will, and open to us the hoys of eternal life right now.
Thank You, Jesus, for our glorious relationship with Thee. Help us to ask, seek, and knock for the goodness of God, even Thy presence!
Teach us to pray we ask, Amen.
And since He bids me seek His face,
Believe His Word and trust His grace,
I'll cast on Him my every care,
And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!"
