Jesus Teaches Prayer: Ask, Seek, Knock - Persist to the Point of Annoyance

Jesus Teaches Prayer: Ask, Seek, Knock - Persist to the Point of Annoyance

In each exhortation, our Lord bids us pray. Beloved, let us abound in supplication.

Charles Spurgeon

I cannot imagine (daring to call God is my witness) I cannot imagine to any degree, trying to live as a Christian, to walk the worthy walk. As we are called to without constant communion with God.

My expectation, beloved Souls, is to learn to pray. And if I can't motivate you to that daily, consistent, Holy Communion, then please, from the bottom of my soul, find someone who can.

If this podcast is not helping, find someone to help you pray!

I urge you to ask without fear, seek in every manner available to you, and knock loud long with tireless and urgent repetition.

Plead in God's mercies for a prayer life.

Pray to God with intensity. Keep on knocking, asking, and seeking for that blessed communion.

Spurgeon... again:

Depend upon it, that failure in prayer will undermine the foundation of our peace and sap the strength of our confidence, but if we abound in pleading with God, we shall grow strong in the Lord, and we shall be happy in His love, we shall become a blessing to those around us.

And since He bids me seek His face,

Believe His Word and trust His grace,

I'll cast on Him my every care,

And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!"
