Five-Minute Devotional - God's will

Five-Minute Devotional - God's will

Sound consistency changes? Pray on patient friends.

Romans 12:1-2

I urge you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. 2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

To pray the will of God is every Christian's goal; we grow into that goal, as we know. Today, we meditate or devote ourselves to a synthesis of the will of God, distilled for us by John MacArthur.

An excellent outline to add to our specific intercessions for our entire prayer lists is the known will of God.

Salvation: 1 Timothy 2:3-4, 2 Peter 3:9

Spirit-Filled: Ephesians 5:17-18, Colossians 3:16. 2 Corinthians 6:17, John 17:17

Submissive: James 4:7, Ephesians 5:21, Hebrews 13:17, 1 Peter 2:13-15. Romans 13

Suffering: 1 Peter 3:17, Philippians 1:12, 2 Timothy 3:12

Saying Thanks to God 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Bonus, one of my prayer passages I added mid-year:

Psalm 37:4-5

Delight yourself in the LORD, And He will give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in Him, and He will do it.

Thank you. Heavenly father. For this beautiful day, we thank you for bringing us to thy salvation. Holy ghost. We thank you. You've taught us your word and, through your word, the will of God, our creator, our judge. Our savior, our king. And even you, holy ghost. Our comforter and teacher. Could you help us? I pray. As we meditate on these things in our will. To seek your filling. And to Thy leading moment by moment.

We would pray for the power in the renewing of our minds. As Paul said in Romans 12. That we would desire then. What thou desirous. I will and not ours be done.

Our desire, by faith, we glory in our afflictions even.

Because we're told in the Psalms that because of those, we do not stray. For all of those things, we give gratitude.

By purposes, glorious of thou art, majestic and thou art to be worshiped. For eternity, we will glory in what we hast done right now. The answer to our prayers. We present ourselves as Thy workmanship. We delight to do. Thy will. Make us more and more delighted to do that? I will. Oh, Elohim. For thou are precious Messiah. Our example. And to Father, thou has put a new heart in us. To do the law and thy law through the holy spirit. And I word. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We pray all this to you that were at the invisible. The immortal. The wise, the only king of Kings and Lord of Lords. So we submit to the. To know and do that well. Amen.
