We are back. You can read a more comprehensive description of the last couple months at www.frponprayer.com, Fred-log post titled, “What a Long Strange Trip, but to whet your appetite:

A couple of months ago, I mentioned I had a minor medical surgery to look forward to.

A funny thing happened on my way to healing. I didn’t heal, and it was not amusing.

In fact, I began this “I’m so glad to be back” Fred-log thirty-four days ago. (Two weeks after the surgery.) I had recorded several episodes which I thought to edit during my recovery.

Good idea, except I didn’t heal. After a series of complications, each one leading to and escalating to the next. I was in real confusion.

I can genuinely say this has been the most painful, bewildering, discouraging, and even fearful season in my life. This season has Added to the long strange trip much of my life has been.

However, I seem to finally to be healing; thank You, Jesus! …

Thank you for listening and paying attention. We are back.

Our purpose to produce reverence for God is found in this stanza of Psalm 119:33-40

He

Psalm 119:33-40

Teach me, O LORD, the way of Thy statutes, And I shall observe it to the end.

34 Give me understanding, that I may observe Thy law, And keep it with all my heart.

35 Make me walk in the path of Thy commandments, For I delight in it.

36 Incline my heart to Thy testimonies, And not to dishonest gain.

37 Turn away my eyes from looking at vanity, And revive me in Thy ways.

38 Establish Thy word to Thy servant, bAs that which produces reverence for Thee.

39 Turn away my reproach which I dread, For Thine ordinances are good.

40 Behold, I long for Thy precepts; Revive me through Thy righteousness.

And since He bids me seek His face,

Believe His Word and trust His grace,

I'll cast on Him my every care,

And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!"
