Devotional 76: Sweet Confusion

Devotional 76: Sweet Confusion

We have the privilege of being born again, saved by grace through the mercies of God.

In this divine privilege, our new inner man longs to know God more and more. Our souls long for that genuine relationship and know Him more and more. Our desire is God-given and insatiable.

As a result of our meditation of God and His Word, we are carried away in the sweet confusion of desiring what we cannot attain until heaven, and even then, as we see Him clearly, He will still be our Creator and are His creatures.

Glory to God in the highest. Our great cloud of witnesses has testified to us.

Psalm 47:7

Deep calls to deep at the sound of Thy waterfalls; All Thy breakers and Thy waves have rolled over me. - Sons of Korah.

And

Beloved David:

Psalm 39:12-13

“Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear to my cry; Do not be silent at my tears; For I am a stranger with Thee, A sojourner like all my fathers. 13 “Turn Thy gaze away from me, that I may smile again, Before I depart and am no more.”

Seek the deep mysteries of Father Son and Holy Ghost, beloved and blessed family.

And since He bids me seek His face,

Believe His Word and trust His grace,

I'll cast on Him my every care,

And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!"
