Devotional 57 Closing Prayer in 2020 for 2021

Devotional 57 Closing Prayer in 2020 for 2021

We have finished up 2020 with the Free Range Preacher’s prayer for our listeners, myself, and all my loved ones.

The outline of this 2021 prayer is we remember and experience:

Our prayers are heard, Luke 1:13

We serve the God of the impossible, Luke 1:37

We will not forget even though we may feel:

2 Corinthians 4:7-10

But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves; we are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying about in the body the dying of Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

His will brings us to:

2 Corinthians 4:16

16 Therefore, we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day.

We will then submit to His perfect will for us, Luke 1:38

Resulting in the glory of God.

Luke 1:68-69

“Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, For He has visited us and accomplished redemption for His people, And has raised up a horn of salvation for us In the house of David, His servant—

Thank You, Jesus.

P.S. As happens in prayer sometimes, this year ending prayer took a little different turn, but not much.

To the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit be all honor and glory and dominion forever and ever, Amen.
