The most profound evidence our prayers are real and dynamic as any other conversation we will ever have is described in the Gospel of John at the last supper.
John 13-17 is the most extensive and intimate interaction we are Biblically privy to. As Jesus tells His disciples He is living and is comforting them He assures them they have full unfettered access to the Father.
John 16:23
“And in that day you will ask Me no question. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you shall ask the Father for anything, He will give it to you in My name. 24 “Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.
The comfort of our sincere dynamic conversations with the Father helps keep us from vain repetition and praying to be heard by other men. It also displays our faith and encourages us to importunity in prayer.
